Mars Ltd. of UK and Rohr International Corp. of USA, MRF has developed into three companies, viz., Multi-Rohr Fabrik Rubber Company Limited , Madras Tyres Limited and Madras Refineries Limited.

The share price of MRF was ₹ 2530 per share in January 2000, before the Dot-com bubble burst. In the fall of 2000, the market collapsed – MRF dropped to a low of $401 per share on October 17th, 2001.

In just 18 months, the stock price has plummeted by 83 percent.

More than half of the significant increases have occurred in a relatively short period. Note how the stock broke through 5000, 6000, 7000, and 8000 in October 2007 alone.

This was the era of the bull market, which was at its height. Every stock was doubling and tripling every day. In the euphoria of one of the most significant bull markets in history, some had given 50-100x returns.

In 2008, the firm suffered a calamity. However, MRF surpassed its previous peak in September 2010.

The price of Bitcoin rose from $1000 in March 2010 to a peak of $20,000 in December 2017 before declining.

After that, the stock remained in a lengthy consolidation period known as time correction.

As of 2021, the stock is up more than 975 percent. In under two weeks, it passed 85k, 90k, and 95k, respectively. It was just about to break the one-lakh barrier.
